You
too can be saved, "for God desires that all men be saved."
1 Timothy 2:4
"All
have sinned and come short of the glory of God"
(Rom. 3:23)
which condemns us to death "to be cast in the lake of fire forever"
(
Rom. 6:23) "but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ
Jesus our Lord" (John 3:16 - 18 ). "For God so loved the world
that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in
Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did
not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that
the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him
is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already,
because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God." Salvation is a gift - it cannot be earned or bought
- but is given by the grace of God. "For by grace you have been
saved through faith and that not of yourselves; it is the gift
of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
(Eph 2:8-9)
Salvation
is the result of a new or 2nd birth. "Do not marvel that I said
to you, You must be born again." (John 3:7) That which is born
of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit
is spirit. (John 3:6) Your first birth is of the flesh - from
your mother's womb. Your second birth is of the spirit - when
the Spirit of Jesus Christ comes into you and produces a new
birth. "If you have not the Spirit of Christ you are not of
His." (Rom 8:9)
If
you are convinced that you are a sinner condemned to an eternal
Hell and that Jesus Christ died for your sins as a gift
to you and you are ready to receive that gift by asking Him
to come live in you as your Lord and become your savior then
Rom. 10:8-13 tells us how this comes about. But what does it
say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart
(that is, the word of faith which we preach); that if you confess
with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that
God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with
the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation. For whoever calls on the
name of the Lord shall be saved." If you are now ready to receive
Jesus Christ into your heart - I want to pray for you - and
then you pray to receive this new birth. We will lead you in
this simple prayer to receive this new birth and also ask God
to fill you with the Holy Spirit. "And do not be drunk with
wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit.
(Eph 5:18)
(Our
prayer for you) Dear heavenly Father, we pray for
this one to receive Jesus Christ into his/her life by faith.
You said in Your Word that if we ask You to come into our heart
You would do so and make us born again. We ask You to
do this for this dear soul who is honestly and earnestly seeking
You. We also ask You to fill this precious person with
Your Spirit giving them a hunger for Your Word and a good understanding
of it, and to lead them to a good Bible believing church where
they can grow in their new life.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
!PRAYER
AND STEPS TO SALVATION!
Now
with your eyes closed I want you to picture a heart in your
mind.
Now
picture a door in that heart with Jesus or a bright light standing
at that door knocking.
Now
picture yourself on the inside taking the door knob and opening
that door wide.
Now
you should see Jesus or that light standing there waiting for
you to invite Him in... Pray out loud.
"Dear
Jesus, please come into my heart just as You promised in Your
Word that You would do if I confess with my mouth and believe
in my heart that You died for my sins and that God raised You
from the dead. I confess and I believe that Jesus died for my
sins and that He is risen from the grave. Right now Jesus, I
ask You to come through that door of faith in my heart and save
me. And, dear Holy Spirit, come in and fill me and empower me
in this new life. I thank You, dear Jesus for, coming in and
saving me. And dear Holy Spirit, I thank You for filling me
and I thank You dear Heavenly Father that when I die I will
go to heaven just as You promised in Your Word .
(Now
continue in your own prayer, out loud) Start thanking your new
Father for all that comes to your mind and if God shows you
anyone that you need to forgive just as He has forgiven you
then you freely forgive them.
Now:
Write in the inside front cover of your Bible or on something
that you will always keep the following: I received Jesus Christ
into my heart by faith and was born again on (date)_____________at
(time)____________.

If you

Prayer
for God's Blessing
I Chronicles 4:10; "'Oh Lord, that you
would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand
would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that
I may not cause pain!' So God granted Jabez what he requested."
Use this prayer daily and don't be surprised what God will do
in you and through you.
